About the Role

Are you a passionate health care teacher/practitioner?  Do you have experience of working in the health care sector? Are you interested in training the next generation of Health Care practitioners? Can you engage with young people and build enthusiasm for the subject? If so, why not join us? Our diverse School of Academic and Social Science and looking to recruit a passionate and motivated individual, who will deliver on a range of Health and Health Science courses. 

What You Will Do

  • Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods for identified modules.
  • Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.
  • Be responsible for recording student progress.
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience, knowledge and skills to enable delivery of a range of levels across the curriculum.
  • Experience of positively managing student and group progression, advice and guidance in a school or Further Education setting, with positive outcomes
  • The ability to plan and deliver quality teaching across identified cohorts and ensure consistency of high delivery within teams
  • The ability to lead activities in the development and delivery of strategies to improve retention, achievement, success and attendance rates for groups of learners
  • Exceptional verbal /written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, to ensure deadlines are met and progress in achieving results from learners and team members.
