Our Computing and IT School provides our learners with the knowledge and skills required by the computing industry.  We provide an excellent foundation for our learners to progress to the next level including careers in the IT, apprenticeships and Higher Education.

As Course Team Leader, you will report to the Section Manager for Computing, and will be responsible for the effective curriculum management of a range of programmes.  You would also teach across a range of programmes, supervise a team of Lecturers and will be involved in ongoing curriculum development and quality assurance.  You will be involved in developing T Levels and the Creative Technology pathway which includes specialist routes such as Games Development, Creative Computing and Visual Effects.

You will possess a degree or equivalent in Computing/IT with an advanced level teaching qualification (DET/PGCE or equivalent) or be working towards this. You will also need to have teaching experience in at least one of the following areas: IT Project Management, Database design and development (MS Access, SQL) or Data Analysis, and familiarity with the Computing and IT BTEC Level 3, City and Guilds Levels 2 and 3 or T Level specifications.
