HRUC is a newly merged College Group, bringing together Richmond Upon Thames College and HCUC (2017 merger of Harrow College and Uxbridge College) in January 2023.  As the new group, we will be building on the results of the HCUC Ofsted inspection (February 2022) which judged 5 out of 8 areas to be Outstanding including the Quality of our Education with an overall grade of Good.

Reporting to the Head of School for Computing and IT, you would provide leadership for a team of Lecturers, manage study programmes, develop provision across the Section and teach across a range of programmes according to your specialism(s), from Level 1 to Level 5.  You would also continue to further develop our links with employers, which are integral to successful student industry and work placements and course enrichment.

You will need to possess a relevant degree in a relevant subject area, and a teaching qualification (PGCE/DET or equivalent), with at least two years’ successful teaching experience, preferably in Further Education.  You will have experience of curriculum management/co-ordination including BTEC and/or Aim Awards, a good understanding of quality assurance and experience of improving teaching, learning and assessment.  You will need to have experience in at least one of the following: Computer Hardware/Systems Support; Computer Networking; Games Development.
