About the Role

Our School of Academic and Social Science is a diverse department that covers a range of academic and social sciences pathways. Our provision is growing and includes education programmes for young people, adult education, apprenticeships and higher education. We are looking for an experienced and motivated and hardworking teacher of childcare and education who will teach modules on a range of courses within the curriculum area. We are looking for innovation, creativity, and high standards through 21st Century teaching methods!

What You Will Do

  • Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods for identified modules.
  • Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.
  • Be responsible for recording student progress.
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.

About You

  •  Must have a Level 5 Teaching Qualification and a highest-level vocational qualification/degree in teaching subject
  • Ability to plan and deliver quality teaching across identified modules
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their optimum
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible towards the requirements of different learner needs
  • Up to date subject knowledge and recent delivery in the Further Education or school sector.
