Estates & Facilities Assistant

We have a great opportunity based at Corby Sixth Form for a Estates & Facilities Assistant to become a key member of our Estates and Facilities department.

As a Estates & Facilities Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing a full range of services to ensure the facilities’ overall environment fully supports the aims and visions of the Bedford College Group. These duties include security, portering, maintenance and ground maintenance, health and safety testing, driving and cleaning.

Our ideal candidates will have be willing to obtain a basic level of health and safety knowledge and have experience of working with the public and experience of working with young people, alongside the following qualifications:

  • Willingness to undertake relevant training

Contract Type – Bedford College Professional Services

  • 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
  • 27 days per annum (plus public holidays), pro rata for part-time
