We are looking for a part-time Lecturer - Foundation Learning to complement our existing provision.
This role is 15 hours per week over 2 days (Tuesday and Friday).
Our Supported Learning provision is an experienced and dedicated team focused on excellent outcomes for our students.
You will:
- Lecture and train Supported Learning Students
- Develop Learning Support Programmes and Materials
- Supervise a team of Learning Support Assistants
- Assess students’ initial support needs and monitor progress
- Arrange appropriate additional support for examinations
The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
- A minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
- Commitment to and evidence of CPD
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Experience of working with post-16 students
- Evidence of successful classroom practice which motivates students
