We have an exciting opportunity within the Faculty of Engineering & Manufacturing to become our Curriculum Area Manager for Engineering. In the role of Curriculum Area Manager – Engineering you’ll predominantly be based at the Engineering Centre – Huddersfield and your focus will be leading on the successful delivery of our Engineering provision. Your key responsibilities will be leading a team of Lecturers, Technicians and Support staff to provide an outstanding learning experience for our Engineering learners.
Driving excellence in teaching and assessment, motivating staff to ensure continuous improvement and contributing to the delivery of the college strategic goals. Ideally, you’ll have Curriculum Management experience with a demonstrable track record of raising standards but this could equally be an ideal opportunity for an aspiring manager to demonstrate that they are ready to make the step up. You will have a L4 Teaching Qualification and a L4/5 Management qualification (or be able to prove equivalent ability). It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively and engage with young people and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
