Mechanical Workshop Technician

We are looking to recruit outstanding technician within Mechanical Engineering workshop, if you have a genuine passion for engineering, are relentless in your pursuit of quality and want to help shape both the current and future workforce, then we want to hear from you!

We invite individuals with previous experience in mechanical workshop who can repair, maintain, clean and prepare materials for teaching purposes from stock. We are keen to hear from candidates who are looking to pass on their skills to up-and-coming learners who have a keen interest in this industry.

Skills and experience will be required for purchasing, general maintenance of machines and equipment in workshops, on a daily or weekly basis as appropriate. Regular cleaning and lubrication of machines and equipment as specified by manufacturer’s schedules. Furthermore, reporting of any recognised hazards or dangers by conducting risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
