6 hours per day - can be worked 8.30am - 3.00pm or 8.45am - 3.15pm (30 minute lunch break).
We require a well organised, flexible and proactive individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Director and Section Manager within the Foundation team, to enable the successful delivery of courses and provide the required support and understanding required by SEND learners and their parents, carers and families.
You will undertake a wide range of administrative responsibilities including diary management, liaising with external agencies and stakeholders, organising the smooth running of events and external visits, inputting of information on systems and producing correspondence and reports. You will handle incoming telephone calls, providing an excellent standard of customer service and handling queries from a wide range of people both internally and externally.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience, with preferably some experience gained in the education sector. You will have experience of working with learners with SEND and will have an understanding of the Equality Act and SEND Code of Practice. You should also have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and experience of using IT systems/databases. You will be a good team player, able to work flexibly and on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
