Arts University Plymouth are currently seeking to appoint an Admissions Manager, a key role within our institution that will oversee student admissions for all levels of study supporting applicants on their journey to studying at a specialist arts university.

This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating the workload of our Admissions Team to ensure the delivery of a high quality admissions service to a variety of stakeholders that prioritises customer service to maximise conversion. You will oversee the application processes, policies and procedures for our pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes for home and international students and will be the key point of contact for all admissions enquiries. A proven record of processing applications utilising a student record processing system (i.e. UnitE) and knowledge of CRM systems would be advantageous.

The role will coordinate support from the front of house and enquiries team to assist the admissions team during busy periods and will also collaborate closely with others across our Brand and Student Recruitment functions to ensure a seamless student journey from enquiry through to enrolment. You will monitor and support the delivery of ambitious University-wide targets in student recruitment and admissions and act as a representative for the University across a variety of events, providing excellent levels of customer service and support for all aspects of the admissions cycle.

About You:

We’d love to hear from people that consider themselves:

  • exceptionally organised and able to manage multiple projects and tasks at one time
  • a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • driven, with the flexibility to work with initiative and deliver high quality results in a busy environment
  • detailed orientated, with strengths in processes and systems
  • a collaborative team player, who enjoys varied work in a friendly and supportive environment.
  • a confident, personable manager who inspires others to deliver quality results

You may have worked in roles that use systems to manage a complete and complex customer journey e.g. housing, recruitment, travel and tourism, or in a management role supervising staff that provide a service to customers. A successful candidate would have excellent customer service skills, managing longer term customer relationships, and with an ability to ensure processes are followed efficiently and accurately.
