Receptionist - Welwyn Garden City

Term Time Monday -Thursday -11.30 am -8.00 pm – Friday 9.00 -5.00
Non-Term Time 8.00-4.30 Monday to Thursday – 8.00- 4.00 on a Friday

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed receptionist to join the Customer Focused team based at the St. Albans City campus. The applicant will work as an effective team member to present a welcoming front line service to students, staff, and visitors.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to positively contribute to student experience at Oaklands College and who is seeking a career in the exciting world of administration in Higher Education.

Full time hours -

The role requires:

Meet and greet and assist visitors and direct them to their destination.

Managing and issuing of staff, student badges and visitor parking permits

Log student assignments and other documents

General Administration duties such as Photocopying, scanning, filing.

Maintain a clean and tidy reception area.

Support Contact centre when closed and answer phones.

Enthusiastic, welcoming, and friendly approach

Ability to work in a team and stay calm under pressure.

An awareness of cultural diversity

Excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in working with and helping customers.
