Trainee MIS Report Writer

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group have a great opportunity for a Trainee MIS Report Writer to join the MIS Funding, Timetabling, Student Data and Exams department at our Wakefield Campus.

As a Trainee in the MIS Funding area, you will support the Funding and ILR Manager through the maintenance of an information service that supports the information requirements of College managers and external agencies, and supports the operation of individual business processes within the College. 

You will proactively engage in the development and design of a suite of data reports and reporting methods that facilitate the provision of relevant, accurate, and timely information on which to base key College decisions. You will also contribute to the efficiency and excellence of service delivery within the College Data Team.

You should hold GCSE A*- C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths as well as being qualified to Higher National/Degree level or have significant experience in the Further Education sector. You will ideally have a working knowledge of ILR processing and submission as well as knowledge of FE funding methodology. Experience of student information systems is desirable.
