Fabric Maintenance Facilities Operative

Capital City College Enterprise is a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital City College Group, providing facilities management services to the Group. We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified Fabric Maintenance & Facilities Operative (Dual) on a permanent or casual basis to deliver a first-class service to the colleges within the group.

As a Fabric Maintenance & Facilities Operative (Dual), you will act as the first point of contact for a variety of Facilities Management (FM) requirements, providing building users with an excellent FM service, focusing on proactive customer service.

Responsible for undertaking plumbing/fabric planned preventative and reactive maintenance work services throughout designated buildings, in additional to general caretaking activities, ensuring adherence to operational, regulatory, and contractual compliance. In addition, the Fabric Maintenance & Facilities Operative (Dual) shall undertake any planned minor installation works or other such project works as required.

The role is critical to maintaining business functions, and is part of a specialist team of operational maintenance technicians focussing upon critical, essential, Statutory and Non-essential systems and asset operational maintenance and minor installation works.

We are looking for someone who is working towards or have a professional qualification within estates and facilities or a related area, IOSH/NEBOSH qualified, has a working knowledge of BMS Systems and has proven experience of working in estates and facilities and knowledge of hard and soft FM service.
