In the role of Accounting lecturer, you’ll be based mainly at our Waterfront centre in Huddersfield, but with ability to work at other centres if required, and your focus will be on delivering accountancy qualifications to a variety of learners, including school leavers and mature students. This will include ensuring that learners are fully prepared for their AAT examinations and guiding apprentices through their professional qualification.
The successful candidate will create a positive classroom environment by engaging learners and challenging behaviour issues positively and with consideration. We aim to help our students develop self-regulation and confidence in their abilities as they prepare for their next step.
You’ll need to have a Level 4 or higher qualification in Accounting or related subject area and demonstrable experience in industry. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively, engage with young people and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
