Oldham College are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor.

As a HR Advisor you will provide advice, guidance and support to the College’s managers and deal with the entire employee lifecycle.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone with substantial experience of working in HR and providing HR advice to managers and employees.

You will provide a proactive and effective support and advisory HR service for departments across the college.

You will be a highly organised individual, capable of managing a variety of tasks and ensuring priorities are addressed and deadlines are met.

With excellent communication skills you will be well respected by managers and trusted for the advice you give.

You will ideally be qualified to CIPD Level 5.

Experience of using MHR I-Trent would be an advantage.

Oldham College is a medium sized general further education college, with a turnover of almost £25m. It has one main campus in the centre of town, and this in the third phases of a £40m redevelopment which began in 2012.   Higher education is taught on a second, dedicated campus, a short walk away.   The College delivers a full range of work-related education and training, including 16-18 programmes of study, T levels, apprenticeships, adult learning and higher education.  It has over 5000 full-time students and 600 undergraduates.   

The College is in the top quartile for 16-18 programmes of study and English GCSE resits, and in apprenticeship provision, but is the second highest performing provider Greater Manchester. The quality of its higher education provision is better than many established universities.
