Compliance And Minor Works Manager

Based across St Albans and Welwyn Garden City Campus.

Oaklands College based in St Albans Hertfordshire are recruiting a Compliance and Minor Works Manager. Part of the role will assure that the College meets all applicable Statutory Compliance and CDM obligations for operating its Buildings and Estates.

The successful applicant will project manage the ongoing Minor Works Programme and the annual approved Capital Expenditure programme.

Applications will be shortlisted on the following criteria.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience of managing building services, statutory compliance, and minor works for a comparable Estate.
• Demonstrable experience of leading building projects and controlling technical works to building services in a busy built environment.
• Experience of preparing budgets and prioritising multiple demands for resources from numerous internal customers.
• Evidence of understanding and controlling health and safety issues for projects, contractors, and suppliers.
