Head of School - Health and Social Care and Creative Arts

HRUC is a newly merged College Group, bringing together Richmond Upon Thames College and HCUC (2017 merger of Harrow College and Uxbridge College) in January 2023.   We are now seeking to recruit a Head for our Health & Social Care and Creative Arts School based at the Uxbridge campus, who will be responsible for leading Health & Social Care, Arts and Media courses from Level 1 to 3.  

We are seeking an individual with management experience gained within Further Education with a very good record of achievement, preferably within one of the above curriculum areas.   You will be qualified to Level 3 (minimum) in a relevant subject area and will have a good understanding of the needs of the sectors within the remit of this post, together with experience of curriculum design with employers to meet their needs. You should have good knowledge of relevant awarding body regulations and experience of quality improvement in an FE environment.  You should also have good team leadership and management, and the drive and commitment to continue our excellent record of student retention, achievement, and progression.
