Hourly Paid Renewable Technologies Tutor

The School of Construction is currently looking for a  Renewables/Retro fit Tutor to join our expanding team at Conel  College to teach Levels 1 to 3 In Renewable Technology.

Ideally you will possess: Engineering Trade Qualifications, a degree, or equivalent and ideally a full Teaching Qualification (DTLLS, Cert Ed or PGCE), however industry candidates can benefit from our teacher/assessor training programme. An Engineering Assessor relevant assessor qualification – TAQA or equivalent or

willing to work towards.

This is an exciting time at the College as our area is currently transforming the area to allow for a state of the Art Energy Centre which allows us to expand our provision and offer new Engineering and Construction courses in electrical installation, plumbing, gas fitting and renewable energies including solar, wind, and air source heating. This Technology, the Renewable Energy Centre marks a flagship investment by ConelL College in training for the jobs of the future.

This role requires you to engage in regulatory activity within the Further Educator sector. The full definition of regulatory activity is set out in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 as amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012. Regulated activity includes teaching, instructing, caring for or supervising children if the person is unsupervised.
