Lecturer Construction - Built Environment

An exciting opportunity for a Construction & The Built Environment Lecturer to join DN Colleges group at the North Lindsey Campus. This role is full time at 36.5 hrs per week. 

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching and learning and has the drive and motivation to help students to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ability to deliver level 3 in Construction and the Built Environment. You may currently be working in the Construction industry and looking for your first job in teaching. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment. 


Working as part of the Construction team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of fulltime/Apprenticeship courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques. 

You will hold a Level 3 BTEC, HNC/HND or degree in construction and a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one within an agreed timescale.  An Assessor/Internal Verifiers qualification, Additional higher maths qualification is also desirable. 

Previous teaching experience would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as full training and support will be provided.
