Higher Education Academic Administrative Officer

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join the HE Administration team at UCNL. The post holder will be working in the Curriculum Support Directorate and will be expected to work flexibly through undertaking a wide range of administrative duties, providing support for the Higher Education academic quality assurance processes in relation to the student experience, the delivery of programmes and for the accuracy of data in relation to the student record. They will be part of a team of multi-skilled solution-focused individuals, led by the HE Registry Operations Coordinator, providing all of the key administration and education support activities that underpin the student experience from initial enquiry to Freshers week to Graduation.

The postholder will be committed to contributing to a positive student experience, working in partnership and contributing towards the enhancement of the University Campus’ processes and data reporting procedures.

This role will provide core and critical administrative support.  The post-holder will need good registry knowledge and be responsible for maintaining and updating student records, assisting in data quality improvements and process enhancements, as well as offering great customer service to students, staff and other customers with administration support.

The role requires a flexible individual with strong communication, organisational and IT skills with significant administrative experience in Higher Education with assiduous attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload.

The post-holder will have experience of large databases to provide administrative support, aiding the smooth running of the HE Administration team, undertaking a variety of duties associated with the range of services provided. Experience of working collaboratively and proactively in a busy team to deliver multiple objectives and high service standards is also required.
