Course Leader HE

We are seeking an experienced person to act as course leader for Business Management & Accounting and Financial Services, who is able to lead on the successful design and delivery of the range of Higher National, degree and professional courses at University Campus Oldham.

As Course Leader you will also be a great Lecturer and will be responsible for the academic leadership of the courses and for teaching a range of modules within the disciplines.

An enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to demonstrate your commitment to providing an excellent student experience.

As a practice-experienced professional, you will be able to apply your experience in teaching your students.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Business Management or Accounting & Finance and be confident teaching undergraduate/professional students at Levels 4-6.

The successful candidate will have a proven record in inspirational teaching at HE level and have a demonstrable commitment to teaching and learning excellence.

You will be based in the Faculty of Business, Construction & Digital which is responsible for a range of programmes including the Higher Nationals (HTQs), foundation degrees, Honours degrees and professional qualifications. The main teaching areas would be for example:

  • HNC Business
  • BA (Hons) Business Management
  • BA (Hons) Accounting and Financial Services
  • CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting
  • CMI Diploma in Management and leadership
  • CMI Project Management
