Casual Technician In Plumbing

Please note, this is an hourly paid contract which means that specific days and hours cannot be guaranteed - they are offered on a casual, ad hoc basis to fit the needs of the service and so may vary.

Job purpose: To support the delivery team, prepare materials and teaching resources and to maintain workshops, equipment and resources in order to assist in the delivery of efficient and effective training.  

You will maintain and keep secure all systems, tools, equipment, instruments and teaching aids to ensure efficient functioning of Learning programmes. This also involves cleaning, setting up and maintaining workshops and classrooms for a range of class work, demonstrations, experimental work and practical exercises for a wide range of courses.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of a Level 3 standard and possess relevant qualifications in the trade. You will also possess a good range of general construction skills. With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners.
