The role:

To deliver high quality training and assessing to learners within the adult Health & Social Care sector. Programmes may include Work Based Learning, European Funded projects, bespoke programmes and workshops.

To have current knowledge of the sector/industry and undertake duties to a high standard at all times.

To provide a professional approach when working with learners and employers, creating a positive and high quality learning environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver assessments across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards.
  • Plan and deliver up to 12 hours per week of training to learners as required (pro rata for fractional staff)
  • Ensure training and assessment strategies and materials are planned and accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners, and that cross-cutting themes (for example, ESDGC, Welsh Ethos, ES, Employability) are embedded and assessed effectively.
  • Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement.

About You:

  • QCF Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or Clinical Health and Social care
  • A1 Assessor Award and/or V1 Internal Verifiers award (TAQA) or equivalent or willing to work towards
  • Experience and occupational competence to Assess Level 1- 3 or equivalent.
  • Level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification

  • Cynllunio, paratoi ac addysgu ar draws amrywiaeth o gyrsiau gan sicrhau bod cynlluniau/cofnodion gwaith ac amserlenni aseiniadau yn briodol i gynnwys y maes llafur a safonau'r corff dyfarnu.
  • Cynllunio a chyflwyno hyd at 12 awr o hyfforddfiant yr wythnos i ddysgwyr, yn ôl yr angen (pro rata ar gyfer staff ffracsiynol).
  • Sicrhau bod strategaethau addysgu a dysgu a deunyddiau addysgu yn cael eu cynllunio yn ogystal â bod yn hygyrch i ateb anghenion amrywiol yr holl ddysgwyr, a bod themâu trawsbynciol (megis ADCDF, Ethos Cymreig, Sgiliau Hanfodol, Cyflogadwyedd) yn cael eu gwreiddio a’u hasesu yn effeithiol.
