We’re currently looking for a Performing Arts Technician to join our Performance team based at our City Hub Campus. You’ll join a group of passionate and dedicated team, who offer innovative and supporting teaching to our cohort of students.

About the role

Playing an integral part of our team, you’ll support staff and students as they deliver their classes, public performances and assessments.

You will provide general class support as well as using your specialist skills in lighting, sound and set design to support large scale shows in our 158 seat Theatre.

To support our programme of live events we will require some flexibility in the shape of your working day.

About you

Applicants must have experience of working in Theatre and be passionate about supporting our learners within our creative learning environment. You will have good communication and team working skills to ensure that you can develop positive working relationships with students and staff and enable you to respond to situations effectively. You should have skills and experience of designing, rigging and operating industry standard lighting systems, have sound engineering skills, and construction workshop experience to support Theatrical productions.
