This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to make a real difference. We are currently seeking to appoint a high-performing Psychology teacher to join our A Level & International Baccalaureate team. A Level Psychology is our largest subject within the A Level team, and as such, we are looking to attract an exceptional candidate to join our Course Leadership team for A Level Psychology.
You will be joining an aspirational team who are collectively passionate about achieving the very best outcomes for their students. At BTC, we deliver over 20 A Levels alongside our International Baccalaureate provision and you will be joining staff from across these subjects in ensuring students make holistic development throughout their time at College.
At the core of BTC, we are about our students, thus the post-holder will need to be a strong team player, be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, aspire to the highest standards and always place the student at the heart of their decisions. In return, you will have an opportunity to join an exceptional College, work with a leadership team focused on talent development, become a member of BTC Extra (providing discounts across a wide range of sectors), whilst also receiving a golden hello for joining the organisation. Opportunities for professional development, leadership of cross-College projects and an opportunity to be a ‘Teaching & Learning Coach’ will also be available, should the post-holder be looking to aspire into leadership positions in the future.
BTC is a forward-thinking organisation and as part of our Digital Strategy, we are currently piloting our ‘One to One Device Strategy’ within A Levels. This means that all students and staff are provided with an iPad to ensure digital accessibility for all students, enhanced collaboration, and utilising technology to drive performance of students where it has the power to do so. Overall, our aim is to achieve the best possible progress for our students, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive in their next steps in their educational journey. We look forward to welcoming our new Psychology Specialist to bring this aim to life and nurture students towards maximising their potential.
BTC offer a range of fantastic employee benefits including:
Generous pension scheme
Competitive holiday entitlement
2 week Christmas closure
Additional holiday purchase scheme
BTC Extra discount package, this includes top retailers, supermarkets, holidays, entertainment packages and much more…..
