We are currently looking for a an experience Joinery Teacher / Assessor to join our successful provision. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learners, ensuring that they are provided with an outstanding learning journey whilst at Harrogate College. They should also have a keen interest in sustainability and building it into the curriculum as well as collaborating with colleagues to further develop the existing curriculum.

What You Will Do

• You will deliver teaching, learning and assessment on the Joinery provision both at the college and onsite to Apprentices.
• This role includes all the usual teacher / assessor requirements such as planning, preparing and developing schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.
• We strive to offer the best experience for students, ensuring that all our learners are fully supported to achieve their potential and progress onto further study or employment.

Your Profile

• We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the necessary enthusiasm, knowledge and skills to deliver outstanding Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours to develop learners ready for progression.
• A commitment to work hard with a keen sense of organisation are also important skills as is the ability to have fun and enjoy working alongside the fantastic staff and students we have at Harrogate College!
