WHAT WE DO

Luminate Education Group are recruiting for an innovative and highly motivated finance professional to join our finance team. We provide a financial accounting service for the group, working with colleagues to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. We offer a generous support package which includes 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional time off between Christmas and New year. We offer a generous pension scheme with the employer contributing up to 17.3% plus other great benefits. We are able to offer hybrid working with up to 2 days working at home.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The post holder will assist the Financial Accountant in the provision of a customer focussed responsive and quality financial service. In particular, the post holder will be involved in the effective management of the Group’s VAT position, accurate maintenance of the non current asset register and balance sheet reconciliations.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience in a financial accounting team.

• AAT qualified or with relevant experience, (study support options are available).

• Experience or knowledge of non current asset registers.

• Previous experience pr knowledge of VAT matters.

• Previous experience of using a complex finance system and be a confident user of Excel.

• Solve difficult problems to a satisfactory conclusion, taking into account the varied perspectives present.

• Highly organised and able to work in a methodical manner.
