ESOL Tutors £31.00 per hour – Various daytime, evening and weekend hours available – to teach courses from Pre-Entry to Level 2 at our 3 sites from April 2023

The Role: 

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Tutors who are committed to adult and community education, and who are focused on learner enjoyment and achievement. We are looking for tutors for morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday classes. You will be working in one of the most diverse boroughs in London, with an extensive ESOL provision. You will be joining a friendly team of tutors who deliver ESOL classes from Pre-Entry to Level 2 face-to-face on college sites and in community settings. You should be willing to travel between sites.

About you:

A recognised initial subject-specialist ESOL qualification, such as CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent, is essential. Also, experience in teaching the subject in a UK adult, community or further education setting is required.  You will need experience of ESOL assessment, such as UK ESOL Skills for Life exams and RARPA. Furthermore, you should either hold or be willing to work towards a post-compulsory teaching qualification at Level 3 as a minimum (AET / PTLLS).
