We are seeking a candidate for a position as Supply Lecturer in the Teacher Education team, to work alongside academic colleagues as part of the delivery of the Specialist Qualification in Headship (and Educational Leadership) Masters programme, including the national Into Headship and In Headship programmes. You will be based at the Inverness College main campus. Delivery of the programme is online through the UHI virtual learning environment Brightspace. As such applications are welcomed from candidates across the UHI region with working from home a possibility.
This roles presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys teaching and learning to join an experienced and diverse team. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on best practice in the teaching of topics relevant to your role. You will be required to be an effective team member able to deliver a high-quality curriculum and educational experience

The suitable candidate must have current, full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). You should also have experience as a senior leader in an education setting be flexible, reflective, innovative, creative and be personally committed to supporting the development of aspiring school leaders.
Please note, the successful candidate will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Scotland and other background checks.
