Development and Engagement Administrator

Full time, 37 hours per week

Based in Wakefield (Hybrid working possible, following the training and induction period)


Are you passionate about learning and development and looking to start your career or build upon your existing skills? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for an Administrator to join our supportive and friendly People Services team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group.

As Development and Engagement Administrator, your duties will extend across a range of tasks including the administration and co-ordination of internal and external training events, Corporate Inductions and Development Days, updating and maintaining training records and supporting with engagement surveys and initiatives.

As Development and Engagement Administrator, you should have:

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • GCSE grade A* C / 9 - 4 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Experience of working in a similar fast paced office environment

You should also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of office administration processes and procedures, along with high levels of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
  • The ability to manage your own time and prioritise day to day workloads, as well as a flexible and adaptable manner, plus plenty of initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong team work ethic
  • A commitment to providing a high quality service to all customers
