In the role of Administrative Assistant in Staff Development & Health & Safety you’ll predominantly be based at Huddersfield Waterfront Centre and your focus will be on providing high quality, comprehensive administrative support across the two functions.
Your key responsibilities will be maintaining and developing the Staff Development (HR) and Health and Safety management systems, co-ordinating staff training and events, providing information and guidance relating to staff development and health and safety matters to managers and staff and dealing effectively and efficiently with enquiries to deliver a positive customer experience.
Ideally, you’ll have a Level 3 qualification (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment. It’s important you have excellent IT skills, along with communication skills in both written and verbal format, and understand the importance and impact of excellent customer service. You also need to demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
