Head of School - Construction and the Built Environment (MA046)

The College is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational individual to lead one of the largest schools in the College, deliver an outstanding educational experience for learners and deliver on the skills needs of employers and stakeholders.

The School of Construction and the Built Environment is a diverse and successful school delivering on all three of our campuses. It brings together Construction and the Built Environment disciplines across all provision types levels (Entry to Level 5).

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to further developing relations with external bodies and organisations to shape a relevant curriculum which will enhance learners’ experiences and career opportunities and have a proven track record in leading teams to achieve excellence in teaching and learning. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding and experience of a wide range of programmes, including Full-time, Adults, HE and Apprenticeships.

A Degree level relevant qualification and/or significant industry experience and Level 5 teaching qualification are also essential requirements. A Master’s qualification would be advantageous.
