FE Lecturer / HE Course Leader - Computer Game Design/Virtual/Augmented Reality

Our Digital Futures and Interactive Media department is seeking an inspiring and highly motivated Lecturer for this full-time role. This is an opportunity to join our rapidly expanding department, initially teaching across UAL levels 2 and 3 in Creative Media Production & Technology.  We are currently developing a higher education progression path into games design and would be very interested in candidates also interested in contributing/leading in this area.

We are looking to appoint a highly creative  individual to be part of our Digital Futures and Interactive Media curriculum area. The successful applicant will hold a relevant degree, have an up-to-date knowledge of industry and be able to demonstrate recent teaching experience. You will have excellent subject knowledge and industry experience within the areas of Computer Game Design, 3D Animation or VR/VP/AR. You will have a passion for developing the knowledge and skills of learners in order for them to succeed in this highly competitive industry.  

Working closely with the Curriculum Leader for Digital Futures & Interactive Media you will be responsible for the planning, delivery, recruitment and development of this exciting curriculum. The successful applicant will produce and deliver innovative and flexible range of teaching and learning materials providing high quality, accessible learning opportunities and an exceptional student experience in line with the College’s values. You will ensure that creativity, employability and ‘real-world’ learning are at the heart of the curriculum.
