Applicants should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree or equivalent industrial experience in Electrical Electronics, Mechatronics or Electromechanical Engineering discipline with Embedded System, Robotics and Computer Science background as an added advantage.

Prospective applicant should be well-versed in several of the following skills areas: Programming, Software, Networking, AI, Machine Learning, IOT etc. Experience of teaching and supervising student project work would be essential as would possession of a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one). Experience of module management would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and able to communicate with students, tutors and academics at all levels, both face to face and through online platforms.

In addition, the successful candidate will be supported in achieving a relevant teaching qualification such as PGCHE or higher education academy accreditation should they not
possess one.

Duties include teaching on and preparing materials for a range of undergraduate and/or professional programmes. Tutors are sought for courses that run during the day, evenings and/or at weekends through blended and face-to-face teaching environments. You will also provide support to senior academics for module delivery and assessment as well as outreach activities and open days.
