Programme Leader - Brick, Joinery, Multi Skilled and P&D

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Construction Department at Oldham College for a Programme Leader.  The successful candidate will lead a team which includes 16-19 study programmes, adult full time and part time  courses and apprenticeship day release provision. You will be involved in designing and delivering a curriculum that is based on the ever changing needs of the construction industry and that develop the right knowledge, skills and behaviours of our students to enable them to achieve and secure a career or higher education in their chosen field. 

If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and skills, developing and leading a team of outstanding construction tutors and have a strong track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning opportunities within a career focussed curriculum, then this is the ideal job for you!

You will need to be organised, innovative, a strong performance manager and have the drive to further grow our links with key employers.

You should hold a relevant degree / teaching qualification, have lead quality assurance experience and a Level 3 construction craft trade qualification (ideally joinery or brickwork).

Successful candidates will ideally have relevant construction industry experience within the last 15 years. This is a full-time permanent position working 37 hours per week of which 14 hours will be teaching hours.
