In the role of Health and Social Care Lecturer you’ll predominantly be based at Huddersfield Campus and your focus will be on delivering outstanding lessons to our students. We are particularly keen to recruit candidates from a clinical / medical background or with other health care sector experience to complement our Health and Social Care team. The Health and Social Care boasts fantastic state of the art facilities and has been a consistently “Outstanding” area since 2020.

Your key responsibilities will be planning and delivering high quality teaching, learning & assessment to our students, predominantly at our Huddersfield site but there may be some delivery at our Dewsbury site as needed. Ideally, you’ll have a relevant L3 or above qualification and a wealth of relevant industry experience to pass onto our students. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively and engage with young people, and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role. Experience of teaching would be preferred but due to our extensive teacher education programme we can offer support to develop the right candidate if required.
