Support Assistant (Paid Work Experience)

Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the    Highlands and Islands.

The Skills for Life, Learning and Employment area is looking to recruit a Support Assistant with lived experience of a learning disability to assist in the provision of educational activities within the SVS department. The post holder will work alongside a lecturer and other support staff both in class and whilst undertaking other departmental duties. They will be required to support students over their breaks and lunch times.

It is essential for you to have experience of working with people with a learning disability and an understanding of the challenges that may affect them. As an enthusiastic team player, you will be joining a team committed to making a difference to people’s lives.
