Hourly Paid Tutor - Business Management & Leadership

CU London is seeking to appoint an Hourly Paid Tutor in Business Leadership and Management until 31/08/2023. The successful candidate will undertake teaching, learning and assessment responsibilities on the Business Management Leadership programme.

The role is a hybrid one requiring the incumbent to be available both face to face (weekends; Saturday and Sunday) and online (weekdays evenings).

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual who has a genuine passion for teaching and learning and is able to make a meaningful contribution to the student experience. Due to the specific vocational nature of the degrees, we are ideally seeking an individual who has relevant industry experience and is able to practically apply the core concepts taught on the courses.

Reporting to the Course Leader, you will work as an integral member of the academic team, taking responsibility for the development and delivery of teaching and learning materials, managing student assessment and feedback and supporting curriculum development. You will ensure retention, progression and completion rates are achieved to expected levels.

It is essential that you adopt a collegiate approach to working with colleagues, both within CU London and across the wider Coventry University Group. There may also be a need to engage with external stakeholders so experience in this area would be an advantage.

An excellent standard in IT and communication skills, along with the ability to meet tight deadlines, is essential for this role.
