You will provide pastoral support as well as being the lead contact for safeguarding disclosures for an identified caseload of students.
The ideal candidates will have previous experience of working with 16 - 19 year olds, including disengaged ‘hard to reach’ students who have barriers to meeting expectations of behaviour and will be able to understand the range of support which may be necessary to help them succeed. The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and maths at grade A*-C) and a Level 3 qualification relevant to the post e.g. BTEC, NVQ, A-Level equivalent.
