Work Based Learning ESQ Tutor/Assessor

To deliver Essential Skills qualifications to Bridgend College Work Based Learning learners including apprentices, ensuring compliance to organisational and regulatory body requirements and providing excellent teaching and support to apprentices and staff.

You will be responsible for administering WEST Initial and Diagnostic Assessment to all apprentices as well as liaising with employers to ensure apprentices progress towards ESQ qualifications.

You will need to be educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, GCSE grade ‘C’ or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, together with Assessor Awards Level 3 or equivalent (D Units/ A1/ TAQA). You will have excellent Essential skills delivery methods, teaching and supporting methodology of basic skills in Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy, and a good understanding of the requirements of a variety of Apprenticeship Frameworks and ESQ’s.
