Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for a Work Based Assessor in the area of Hospitality Industry, in particular Professional Cookery. The role will involve conducting work based assessments and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation for candidates undertaking vocational qualifications; to develop industry and employer links and generate new business for the college.
It is important to be flexible, proactive and versatile and able to teach across the range of our programmes from schools programmes, FE to Degree level. This post might suit someone working in the industry but would like to get involved with teaching.
The successful candidate, or candidates, will ideally be qualified with industry recognised qualifications like L&D awards (assessor qualifications) and have relevant industry experience.
