Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
Perth College UHI is seeking a Lecturer with expertise in nutrition and food science for the BA (Hons) - Food, Nutrition and Textiles Education programme. The post holder will be part of a growing team delivering this innovative undergraduate teaching qualification providing Home Economics teachers to our schools. It will also involve working with the industry, Education Authorities and Academics.
This is a four year undergraduate programme that includes an initial teaching qualification and prepares graduates for an induction year in a secondary school.
There are two pathways for students:
• A 4 year Honours Education program
• A second route from HNC into year 2 of the Honours Education program, with support for students to meet other normal teacher education qualifications when required.
