Cashier/Shop Assistant

We are looking for a customer focused individual to join our Hospitality team working 25 hours per week to work in our on site shop. We stock a large range of general purpose items design to meet the needs of our on site college community.

You will be responsible for serving in the college shop and other commercial outlets to provide cover when necessary. In addition, you will manage stock, operate tills and point of sale equipment, maintain a clean and professional commercial environment and receive deliveries.

You will have a minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent) and ideally previous experience in a customer facing role. You will have a positive can do approach to your work and be able to be flexible to meet changing priorities as they arise. You will also be organised and have good communication skills.
