Contract: Full-time Permanent

Nottingham College is currently seeking to recruit an experienced & passionate behaviour mentor. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our already successful behaviour support & Inclusion team.

We want an individual who can positively contribute to our new city learning programme to actively re-engage young people who are currently not in education, employment or training by providing innovative, comprehensive holistic support across the curriculum.

Nottingham College is a diverse and inclusive college and we welcome individuals who can embrace our ethos and contribute new ways of thinking to enhance our learners’ experience.

This role would include working with learners who may require additional support with both emotional and behaviour needs, so experience is essential. This role requires teamwork, relentless routines, and supportive interventions. It will be paramount to encourage and nurture learners to build independence and confidence to progress on their journey in education.

The successful applicants will be expected to update and record relevant information about our learners’ needs and their progression. Experience in signposting would also be desirable.

Experience and knowledge around safeguarding policies and GDPR is an essential requirement for this post.

The post will be shortlisted against the essential and desirable criteria at application stage from the person specification. Please ensure that you have a look at this specification attached to the job profile and complete your application directly from this, as these specifications are an integral part of the selection process.

For further details on this post which the job profile and person specification cannot answer for you, please contact behaviour lead jamie.flack@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk

Interviews/assessments are planned for - 12th December 2022
