We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspirational Trainer Assessor to work in our Construction Department (Electrical) although you may be required to support other departments as and when required. The purpose of this rewarding role is to provide training, assessment of competence, guidance and support to learners on the College’s Work Based Learning (WBL) programme.

The post holder will be required to recruit and review those candidates working in the relevant field primarily on employers’ premises.

The post holder will act as the ambassador for the college at all times whilst undertaking the role, particularly in the employer’s workplace. The post also involves contributing to the marketing, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of programmes to meet market needs and contractual targets and performance criteria. The qualifications deemed essential for this post are a minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C or 9 - 4).

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
