Leeds City College are delighted to be advertising 3 Youth work placement roles for current 3rd year degree students completing a youth work or related degree. The roles will take place from January 2023 - July 2023.

The successful candidates will work with the Student Life Enrichment team who have responsibility for a wide range of areas including cross college enrichment, student voice, volunteering, student leadership and social action. Through this work we aim to develop student skills, widen participation, ensure learners have a voice in college and the community as well as enhancing their life experiences.


  • Responsible for delivering a range of engagement activities to support learners and provide 1:1 support for identified learners affected by the pandemic. They will also be
  • Responsible for developing campaigns and resources to support wellbeing across the college.
  • Due to the nature of the role, Leeds City College welcomes applications from candidates who have experience or interest in working with and supporting young people

The college will provide one day per week of remission from the role for students to be able to complete degree work.
