CU London are looking to recruit an inspirational individual to the position of Tutor  for Cyber Security and Computing Science degree courses within CU London. The individual will need to demonstrate excellent academic and administrative skills, in a Higher Education or Further Education environment, and will have experience in working within the sector.

Tutors are expected to maintain and update their knowledge in respect of the future HE landscape, and will have demonstrated innovative practices with regards to teaching, learning & assessment across a range of IT related courses with flexibility to meet changing markets within the area.

Our Tutors should demonstrate a contemporary knowledge of Cyber and Computing  and related practices within this diverse field. This area is undergoing constant change and adaptions, and it is likely that this post holder will be involved in reviewing the course, to ensure its value in the portfolio, offered at CU London.

Teaching, curriculum development, attendance and monitoring of students through their courses; promoting student success and progression through active participation in departmental events; devising relevant workshops and presenting at examination boards are key aspects of this role.

We are looking for an individual who can work effectively as part of team and who demonstrates a passion for continuing development of both self and curriculum. Within the institution, you will promote the reputation of this area of work, and the institution as a whole. There may also be a requirement for you to participate in teaching or academic development within the CU Group, which involves collaboration at centres. Furthermore, you will have some experience of writing new programmes, as you would be expected to contribute to the development of any new degree programmes, and to support with any phasing out of relevant degree programmes.
