We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Assurance and Standards Manager to join our Quality Assurance team to support our apprenticeship provision, based at our City Hub Campus, however with a requirement to work on all of our college sites.

The Role

Leading on the processes and preparation’s for specified Awarding Organisations which includes IMI, on the centre co-ordination, reviews/approvals/re-validations and undertaking the role of Lead IQA for specified programmes.

Be a leading advocate for all staff on apprenticeship assessment and internal quality assurance practice through reviews and audits to ensure staff consistently apply robust procedures.

Leading and implementing any new quality initiatives, designed to drive up standards.

Providing training to staff with regard to quality processes on initial assessment, on-programme, gateway and readiness for end point assessment requirements to enable them to consistently meet the required standards at all times.

You will be integral in supporting teams to evaluate current practices and developing clear quality improvement actions to implement to continuously improve the apprentice and employer experience.

About You

We are looking for candidates who have a real passion and enthusiasm for teaching, learning, assessment and internal quality assurance, with the ability to drive continuous improvement in the apprentice journey across the broad provision of apprenticeships.

Extensive experience of delivering excellence in either managing, teaching, assessing and internal quality assuring within apprenticeship standards and looking to build your experience in a different role.

Educated to level 3 or higher in a relevant occupational sector e.g. Automotive /Engineering/ Construction /Health/ Management and hold an Internal Quality Assurance qualification.

With previous Apprenticeship standards knowledge, you will have experience in undertaking quality reviews/audits across the apprentice journey, providing 1-1 coaching, developing teachers/assessors in assessment and IQA practice.
