In the role of Maths Lecturer, you’ll predominantly be based at Waterfront/Springfield and your focus will be on delivering GCSE and/or Functional skills maths classes. Your key responsibilities will be to teach maths related subjects at our Dewsbury and Huddersfield centres and to develop programmes of study to meet the particular needs of our learners who have not yet achieved a Grade 4 or above in maths. The successful candidate will also be required to assess students in accordance with the requirements of the programme and to contribute to systems of quality and advice and assist in the effective organisation of the department by the proper establishment of such syllabuses, schemes of learning and records as may be necessary from time to time. Ideally, you’ll have a relevant up to date qualification in maths at Level 3 or above or a related subject (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in teaching maths and a Level 5 teaching qualification.
