Work Based Learning Recruitment Manager

We are recruiting for a committed Manager to be responsible for directing and supervising the apprenticeship recruitment team including staff development and the team’s performance to ensure an effective recruitment matching service. You will identify and develop new businesses to maximise work opportunities through a variety of business development approaches, including sales calls, meetings, presentations, social media promotions, events, and networking.

To succeed as a manager, you will take responsibility for the expansion of your own accounts, developing long-term links with stakeholders to ensure a sustainable demand and meet monthly targets and KPI’s in line with the college financial objectives. Planning, developing, managing, and monitoring talent acquisition, hiring processes, and new and effective strategies are all part of the essential process which aligns with the College’s intent to find local young people and other college students’ jobs.     

You will support the Recruitment Advisor development in presentation techniques and employer engagement, alongside their development of excellent CEIAG skills and expertise.

Ensure personal and team targets are met on a monthly and annual basis; be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of all staff allocated to the Job Shop Recruitment Team

Develop, strengthen and pro-actively account manage new employer relationships to increase our students’ opportunities to secure apprenticeships, work experience and employment.
